22 Apr European Team Championships 2016: Day 2
The Malta Men’s National Team had a positive 2nd day at the European Team Championships (ETC) in Bucharest, Romania. In their mid-day matches against Luxembourg they drew 2-2, Bradley Hindle Deguara beat Daniel Hutchines 3-1, Dean Gera lost 3-0 against Daniel Kaiser, Sebastian Giordano lost 3-0 against Guilaume Planche and in final game Daniel Zammit Lewis beat Sanjay Raval 3-1.
In the afternoon, the team won their match against Isle of Man 4-0.
They will now face top seeds of the group Portugal while Luxembourg play Isle of Man. Portugal have already booked their place in the semi-finals. Depending on results of these final group matches, either Malta or Luxembourg will take the other semi-final spot from this group.
